Brazil-based developer Gameplan has joined independent games production house Remote Control Productions (RCP).
Gameplan provides development services specialising in co-development, engineering, and outstaffing.
It has served international clients and publishers including Xbox, Bandai Namco, NetEase Games, and InnoGames.
The developer was founded in 2014 in São Paulo and is currently headquartered in Fortaleza, Ceará.
By joining RCP, Gameplan plans to expand its services to include full SKU development and porting. The studio will also provide outstaffing solutions and technical support to other studios in the RCP network.
RCP said that its partnership with Gameplan reflects its “ongoing commitment to building a diverse ecosystem that combines creative studios and service partners, enabling scalable delivery while allowing studios to remain in charge of their own companies.”
“Joining the Remote Control Productions family is a major milestone for Gameplan,” said CEO André Faure.
“It reflects over a decade of experience delivering high-quality services and building strong partnerships in the games industry.
“Being part of rcp strengthens our reach and allows us to contribute to world-class projects, while demonstrating that Brazil and Latin America are home to outstanding talent.”
RCP was founded in 2005 and provides production services in the games industry and related interactive entertainment sectors.
The firm has a network of over 14 companies across Europe, Asia, and South America.
