I Wanted to share my recent design. I feel like the dualies are somewhat lacking in elevated skins (to my knowledge there aren’t any reds and only a few pinks but I could be wrong) so my goal here was to take the arabesque brief and push the limits of my own capabilities to hopefully make something really unique.
To achieve that, I spent entirely too long creating a mosaic mother of pearl plating on the top slide. Each geometric tile has a subtle directional bias, which gives an almost holographic effect in the light. Anyways I won’t ramble on the details of that too much- the important thing is, does it look cool?
