All 48 qualified players for Capcom Cup 12 have been confirmed. With $1,000,000 going to the first place finisher, the main event is set to start in just a couple of days on March 11, 2026 (JST). It’ll go on until a winner is crowned on March 14, 2026.
Last year, it was announced that the Capcom Cup Finals would be a pay-per-view event. As one can probably imagine, this announcement wasn’t exactly popular with the fanbase, especially with those of us residing in North America.
Though the tickets to watch the conclusion of Capcom Cup 12 are fairly expensive, Capcom decided to offer a method to watch Capcom Cup 12 for free within the Battle Hub of Street Fighter 6 itself. Of course, those that watch the action this way won’t be able to listen to the commentary.
Earlier today, Capcom released a new announcement concerning co-streaming of Capcom Cup 12. In order to preserve the “enjoyment of paying subscribers,” Capcom is asking streamers to refrain from publicly sharing footage of the Capcom Cup 12 Finals and the Street Fighter League: World Championship 2025 Finals.
Capcom is warning that ignoring this request will result in a violation of copyright infringement. According to the post, Capcom intends to take appropriate measures that include requests for removal against those that attempt to co-stream without permission.
However, it’s important to note that Capcom is only prohibiting co-streaming of Capcom Cup 12 and Street Fighter League: World Championship 2025 for the portions that are supposed to be pay-per-view. Fortunately, they’re allowing anyone to conduct co-streaming of the otherwise free to watch parts of the events without direct authorization.
