Hi there,

I'm a bit of an amateur to overclocking, and especially new to tweaking RAM. I'm solely gaming on this PC, but I have found a lot of enjoyment in trying to get the best out of my system.

I've been tweaking my RAM for the first time and I've had some success with tightening the primary timings. This is a 6400 CL36 kit with Micron D-die. I've got it to stable timings of 34-44-44-86. I tried 32-44-44-84, but that failed a cold boot this morning. I haven't touched any secondary timings yet, so right now they are going off the XMP profile.

I'm not too familiar with what I'm doing, but I was at 1.23V VSOC so to try and fix the cold boot issue, I increased that to 1.25V in hopes of stability. In the end I had go back to CL34. I feel I should also mention that I have PBO enabled with motherboard limits and negative curve optimizer per core (-20, -18, -22, -22, -22, -22, -14, -16) for my 7700X if that makes any difference to how I should approach things.

So my question is, where should I go from here?
