I went down the sleeper PC rabbit hole when Silverstone released the flp-02 but it didn't feel like the right vibe for me. But then when I found this no-name Athlon system at Goodwill I couldn't resist! Learned how to Dremel out the drive cages so the GPU could fit. I also cut out more ventilation in the front for the intake fans to breathe. Bought a couple front panel items and painted them as period correct beige as I could so now I have modern front panel ports, as well as a hot swap drive bay (2.5 and 3.5 drives) for quick data transfer between mine and my partners PCs. Shoutout to Geekenspiel for having modern recreations of the vintage style AMD and windows xp badges for that extra magic. This is probably one of my favorite projects ive done hands down. (if anyone has ideas on how to make the monitors look more period correct im all ears!
