So basically after the bo4 the dark aether it whatever the vanagurd gods didn’t notice the apothicons inside the dark aether or keepers i wonder how big the place is but they only noticed the mystery box???
So since things get tentacles from the dark aether I wonder what it actually is we’ve been on this arc for half of zombies timeline now and it feels like we never got an explanation as to how powerful beings like the keepers got corrupted by the dark aether and gained tentacles also the shadow man mentioned elder gods could he be talking about the vanagurd elder gods or the apothicon elder gods from revelations??
Also another point is with the apothicon elder gods we see them take work forms like the Dark aether worm boss same with the forsaken he gets the vanguard gods powers and gains tentacles on his body I don’t know if mimics abominations are keepers or apothicons trying to rebuild themselves with zombie corpses from the dark aether as they clearly take the appearance of such and even the disciple takes the appearance of the keepers/apothicons when you damage it enough so I do believe they died at the end of bo4 and their souls Im the dark aether are rebuilding themselves thats why they take the appearance of head mouths with teeth clear reference to the keepers and apothicons Im hoping we get a mention also orda could also be a dead vanagurd/chaos god trying to reanimate itself it has human looking features but it clearly looks reanimated as if it was putting itself together could be a fallen giant Greek god lol we see in ancient evil trapped in the dark aether reanimating itself
Also the fact that Chaos elements exist in the new dark aether verse although a bit retconned does that mean chaos was part of aether multiverse and does that mean Greek mythology and others exist or did the vanagurd gods inspire it instead in this new verse? Like mentioned in their backstories and I believe keepers did something similar with early human civilizations but that was in the old universe idk about the new one although the mars map could have clues there. Oh yeah caltheris do martians exist?? lol
Not to mention the Easter eggs go IW zombies so now we have that if they even want to redo and on that I wonder if biblical hell exist in a multiverse of that world now?
Also since zombies is canon to campaign at least I would believe maybe they wrote themselves into a corner idk lol but basically mwz is actually happening and you are seeing the zombies and dark aether entities for real? But in endgame it’s all hallucinations which is weird because its a treyarch game and their afraid to confirm zombies as being real in their games story? Mwz and Cold War campaign characters know of zombies for real and even a location like uzurkistan and outbreak maps was overtaken? They are similar modes but one is a hallucination and the other is real thats weird to me Im hoping they explain that the cradle has aetherium in it and allows you to see/phase into the dark aether temporarily or something lol and honestly if this game is the conclusion of the saga they can easily reset it with zombies being canon and the multiverse stuff that would be funny and cool I wouldn’t mind zombie themed multiplayer maps or even returning maps like der schatten from bo4 due to endgame origins boss and campaign maps and the mixed reality vibe.
I don’t know what happened at the end of bo6 with new universe Richthofen but it was kind of a let down i was hoping for something big I liked the sci fi vibe they low-key ruined the forsaken with that map and there should’ve been references to the og story if they were gonna reference chaos anyways same with Samantha we should’ve gotten something going on with them both especially as a huge conclusion for the aether verse and bo3/4 apothicon keeper summoning key references explanation on dark aether entity appearance looking like them and heck even vanagurd gods for the forsaken but it seemed to be lack luster i also hope we get a taste of that in bo7 conclusion
Would not mind a comic with a good artist showing of the cool creatures and gods explaining the story more or even retconning thing sun the game that don’t add up
Also wouldn’t mind specific story map remakes like chronicle the Archon from vanagurd,Revelations from bo3,a Great War glimpse map instead of tag der toten we get to play in the cutscene instead of tag and Ancient evil or cut chaos maps??? And the Forsaken I’d rather have those than Bo1/2 remakes I’d like those on the new engine
