Max Mode is back for 2026 and is happening in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.
Notable players participating include VIT|KingReyJR, VP|Lokof, Dany “El Maza”, Reject|Score, Comitê|Kaiser666, Kanme|Monarch, Alex Smith, GHZ|TheGio, Alliance|2eZ, MDC|RocklandKyo, Pokchop, Comitê|PiterErn, Solstice, ShinobiKun904, Bolt|Nomar, FrankieBFG, Fierce, REZ|Big Mo and more.
The SNK World Championship circuit for 2026 is already up and running and Max Mode 2026 is a part of it.
Both Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and King of Fighters 15 are designated as Master 3 qualifier events for the tour.
As far as entrants go, Tekken 8 leads the charge with over 60 names followed by Street Fighter 6 which hit just over 50 participants and then Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves comes in with more than 40 players.
Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, King of Fighters 15, Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes], Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising and 2XKO all hit over 30 participants each.
There will also be tournament play for BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Guilty Gear Strive, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 and King of Fighters 13.
Streaming is being done at Max Mode FGC, Max Mode FGC 2 and Working On It.
