BUTTE, Mont. — The Western C boys and girls basketball tournaments have entered day three of four in Butte, with spots in the championship games up for grabs.
Teams that win their semifinals contest are guaranteed no worse than second place in the tournament.
If the team that finishes second has already defeated the consolation bracket winner during Western C play, a challenge game will not be necessary. If the second and third place teams did not face off during the tournament, a challenge game will take place on Monday with a spot in the state tournament on the line.
The winners of the Western C will automatically advance to the Class C State Tournament.
This story will be updated with scores as the day progresses.
