A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges is arriving to players around the world, appearing in World Circuits when your console clock ticks past midnight and into Friday morning.
Weekly Challenges are a special bonus game mode, available to players who’ve completed the main GT Cafe Menu career, that first appeared in Spec II back in November 2023. It consists of five different challenges that you’ll need to take on during a seven-day window, four of which are standard race events drawn from World Circuits, accompanied by a fifth “Special Event” that’s created just for the week.
Completing the events during the week’s window will land you with some bonus rewards, in addition to the prize money earned for the races themselves, with each week being worth around 1.3m credits in cash and in kind and a little incentive to complete any races you might have missed — especially those in updates.

Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges – February Week 5 Events
European Sunday Cup 500 – Sardegna Road Track
We’ve got two trip to Sardegna this week (and who knew there were five weeks in a normal February?), the first of which is a regular race for road cars from European manufacturers. You don’t need to dwell on the “500” part of the name, which is a suggested Performance Point (PP) value for a close race with the lead car(s). Just win two-lap race of the B course and you’ll score a meager 10,000cr.
Jimny Cup – Sardegna Windmills
Staying on the island, the second race this week goes over to the off-road Windmills course for a Jimny one-make. It’s another two-lapper, for which you’ll need either of the two Suzuki Jimny models and dirt tires, and with no limits on tuning you should bounce your way to 30,000cr for victory.
Porsche Cup – Autodrome Lago Maggiore
There’s also two brand-focused events this week, beginning with the five-lap race in the Porsche Cup at the full Autodrome Lago Maggiore circuit. You can use any Porsche model of any kind, even racing cars, but there is a 650PP cap. A nicely balanced setup is good for this course — not too much straight line speed, and not too much cornering focus — with 70,000cr available for the win.
Ferrari Circuit Challenge – Deep Forest
The equivalent Ferrari race heads over to Deep Forest Raceway, and it’s another five-lap affair. This time the cap is 700PP, but again you can use any Ferrari model of any kind. It shouldn’t be a tricky one, and the 90,000cr prize doesn’t entirely seem fitting given the cost of the cars (and tuning parts) involved.
Special Event – Red Bull Ring
There’s a bit of a monster final race this week, as the Special Event puts you into Gran Turismo’s fictional 1990s’ F1 cars. You can pick either of the “F3500” 3.5-liter cars and there’s no limits on tuning either — which means both the standard V8 and V12 options, as well as all the engine-swaps. The AI certainly makes use of this freedom so it’s a pretty varied-sounding and looking grid. There’s 18 laps with some pretty high tire wear — but no rain — between you and the 200,000cr prize for taking the win.

As well as collecting the prize money for the individual races, Weekly Challenges award bonuses that increase in value as you complete more events. These vary from week to week, but no matter what they are they’re sent as tickets to your Garage’s Gifts section. You’ll need to redeem them before they expire.
The bottom two prizes rarely change these days, so regulars should be familiar with the 100,000cr ticket for completing any one of the five events and 200,000cr ticket for finishing any three. This week the final prize is a Six-Star Roulette ticket for getting all five checked off; these hold a Brand Central car (including Invitation cars) worth 480,000cr or more, or 500,000cr, or — more rarely — a cool 1,000,000cr.
In order to have access to the Weekly Challenges you’ll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie. The events update at midnight local time on Friday mornings, so we’d expect the next set of the new-look events on the morning of Friday March 6.
