Hi y’all. I’ve got a desk setup going for streaming and podcasts and video calls. I’m going for that neat, blurred background look so I’ve got a GH5 (red dot) with a 25mm 1.7. I’ve rigged up some Philips Hue Play lights as key and fills hanging off my monitors (blue rectangles). Thing is, I need the desk (green rectangle) a few feet off my back wall (black line), so it’s kind of floating in the center of this long, narrow room. Curious if y’all have any experience with this.
I see lots of great setups with monitors up against a wall and a desk chair facing the wall. My desk chair is facing into the room. The backs of the monitors exposed to the rest of the room.
I hope I’m describing that well. Haha.
I’d love to see some setup examples like that.
