THIS WEEK

The UC Santa Barbara softball team returns home this week to host the UC Santa Barbara Tournament at Campus Diamond. The Gauchos enter the week at 4-13 overall and will look to snap a three-game losing streak as they begin a six-game homestand.

UCSB has played just one home game this season, opening the year primarily on the road and at neutral-site tournaments. The Gauchos will welcome LIU and Iowa State for six games over four days, beginning Thursday.

SCOUTING THE SHARKS

LIU enters the UC Santa Barbara Tournament seeking its first win of the season. The Sharks are 0-15 overall and have yet to play a home game this year, opening the season entirely on the road. With three games against UCSB scheduled to open the tournament, LIU will look to snap its early-season skid.

SCOUTING THE CYCLONES

Iowa State enters the tournament at 10-4 overall and riding a five-game winning streak. The Cyclones scored 118 runs through their first 14 games of the season.

Jessie Clemons is hitting .404, while Sydney Malott leads the team with four home runs. Tatum Johnson has driven in a team-high 19 runs.
