LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV Lady Rebels are going on the road for both Mountain West games this week, first visiting Colorado State on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Moby Arena. UNLV collected a 64-51 victory over CSU in the first meeting this season.
 
ABOUT COLORADO STATE: UNLV is 30-32 all-time against Colorado State, however, the Scarlet & Gray have won the last 10 meetings between the two squads. The Rams head into Wednesday’s contest with a 21-7 overall record and a 12-5 MW record. CSU is currently on a three-game win streak. The Rams are coming off a 62-48 victory over Wyoming. The Rams have three players scoring double-figures and are led by Lexus Bargesser’s 15.4 points per game. Kloe Froebe is the second-leading scorer with 10.6 points per game, while leading the squad in rebounds with 6.1 per game.

LAST TIME ON THE COURT: The UNLV Lady Rebels rolled past UNR 81-64 on Saturday afternoon in a packed Pavilion. This game is part of the Silver State series presented by America First. Following the game, the Scarlet & Gray honored seniors Aaliyah Alexander, Destiny Brown, Shelbee Brown, Erica Collins, Mariah Elohim and Destiny Leo. The Lady Rebels had five players score in double-figures and were led by Meadow Roland’s 22 points. Roland also led UNLV in assists with a career-high six and blocked shots with four. Aaliyah Alexander was the second-leading scorer with 18 points on the night. Alexander shot 5-for-8 from the field, 1-for-1 from the three and a perfect 7-for-7 from the charity stripe. Shelbee Brown and Mariah Elohim each had 12 points on the day, while Brown led the squad in rebounds with eight.
 
SQUAD LEADERS: Meadow Roland leads the Scarlet & Gray in points per game, averaging 14.9 and in made field goals with 5.7 per game; Roland is the second-leading rebounder bringing down 9.5 boards per game. Jasmyn Lott is second on the team with 12.5 points per game. Aaliyah Alexander leads the Lady Rebels in assists per game with 3.5. Alexander is fourth on the squad with 10.7 points per game. Shelbee Brown leads the squad in rebounds with 9.6 per game and is third in points per game with 10.9.
 
NON-CONFERENCE WRAP: The Lady Rebels wrapped up non-conference play with a 5-5 overall record. UNLV’s wins came against Washington State, DePaul, Creighton in the rematch of the 2023 NCAA First round, Northern Iowa and UTSA.
 
4X MOUNTAIN WEST REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Lady Rebels continued to rise last season becoming the first Mountain West team since 2017 to collect four straight regular season titles. UNLV made a trip to the Women’s Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) and collected the first postseason victory in over two decades. The Scarlet & Gray claimed the league’s Coach of the Year in Lindy La Rocque and Freshman and Sixth Player of the Year for the second straight year with Meadow Roland.
 
WHAT UP SQUAD?: The Lady Rebels return five of the 13 players from their 2025 championship team, including starter Aaliyah Alexander and Mountain West Sixth and Freshman of the Year Meadow Roland. UNLV welcomes nine new players, which includes graduate students Shelbee Brown and Destiny Leo, seniors Destiny Brown and Mariah Elohim, juniors Ongolea Afu and Sydni Summers and freshmen Trystan James, Hodaya Kabada and Alexis Swillis.
