It’s go time in 2-woman bobsled! Let’s talk about the veterans.

Though both Kaillie Humphries and Elana Meyers Taylor, the two best bobsledders in Team USA history, are in their 40s — Humphries turned 40 in September, while Meyers Taylor is 41 — neither has officially said that the Milan-Cortina Games will be their last.

That being said, Meyers Taylor can do math.

Asked if she’d consider sticking around the sport until 2034, when Salt Lake City hosts another Winter Olympics, Meyers Taylor joked, “I think if I’m competing in the Salt Lake Games, it might be a medical miracle.”

For what it’s worth, the men’s competition has a 46-year-old pilot from Brazil, Edson Bindilatti, who’s competing in his sixth (and final) Games. So I don’t think we should rule out Humphries or Meyers Taylor just yet.

Meyers Taylor, currently in 6th place, will slide 15th tonight, while Humphries slides 18th.
