I’ve been playing for years and the M416 Glacier is still one of the most iconic skins in the game. A lot of players invested a huge amount of materials and money upgrading it to max level because it was the original “dream gun.”
But when you compare it to the newer M416 skins, it’s clearly missing features that modern upgrades now have.
For example, newer M4s include things like:
• Firing sound effects
• Headshot sound effects
• Ornament slots
• Extra animation layers
Meanwhile Glacier, despite being a maxed and legendary skin, stops at the older upgrade system.
I’m not asking to change the identity of Glacier. The ice theme and effects are perfect already. But it would be great if the developers could retroactively add the newer upgrade features so it matches the standard of recent skins.
Players who supported the game early shouldn’t have their most iconic gun feel outdated.
Even adding just few of these:
• Custom firing sound
• Headshot sound
• Ornament slot
• switch firearm
• inspect emote
would make a huge difference.
As anniversary is nearby it would be a perfect gift for players!
