I’m looking into the timeline for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and I’ve noticed a slight gap in the information regarding COD4's place in the timeline.
I know the game takes place in 2011, but as far as I can tell, the game itself never actually gives a specific month or day. Every mission startup just says "Day 1," "Day 2," etc.
Is there anything that points to a specific month/day of the year? Or is "2011" the only official timestamp we ever get in the actual campaign?
Curious if anyone has found something or if we can point towards anything based off the environments of each mission.
