I’m aware that I should leave the pcie shunt alone, I need feedback on that third shunt- what circuit does it govern and does it need shunting at all?
Lastly, I’ve been told to solder an additional equal size R005 resistor on top of the existing resistors, but would like to know if that’s the right move given my goals which are to basically achieve unlimited power limited. I do not foresee myself volt modding the card but I do not want to ever run into a scenario where 1.1v power limits the card.
I’ve already exhausted all other options, such as different vbioses, the highest that will work is 330w but I still find myself bouncing off power linit all the time even at 1080p low. Yes my frame rate is uncapped, yes I’m well beyond my monitors refresh rate, yet I still do not care, I want to see how far the card will go do not care if it blows up in the process. Bought this mining card on 2022 for $280 and have since put 11k hours gaming and probably 3 times that in mining while sleep. Card does not owe me a dime.
