Kunimitsu, Bob, Roger Jr. and one more unnamed challenger have been revealed to be coming to Tekken 8 via Season 3. This season is also emphasizing a “return to basics” in terms of the game’s balancing with the upcoming patch that’s dropping on March 16, 2026.
In preparation for this, TheMainManSWE has decided to release his final tier list for Tekken 8 Season 2. All 40 characters currently in Tekken 8 have been divided up into six different tier categories.
The best characters in the game right now are said to be Bryan, Anna, Nina, Asuka, Law, Claudio and Clive. These combatants are likely to be nerfed in the big update due to their performances at the tournament level.
Heihachi, Yoshimitsu, Jun, Jin, Lidia and four others are indicated to be very prominent in the current meta. Though Anna and Clive are said to be the strongest DLC fighters, Heihachi and Lidia are also doing really well.
Meanwhile, the latest DLC character, Miary Zo, is said to be one of the weaker picks right now. She’s down there in the same tier category as Kuma and Panda.
Devil Jin is said to be the overall worst character in Tekken 8 right now. At one point, he was actually one of the strongest, but nerfs and system changes have clearly had a major effect on him and his gameplan.
