Hello, large post but I'll try and keep it simple
Most of you have probably never heard of it, but there's a mode near the bottom of the lobby screen called Fireteam, and I think we should give it another chance before continuing to ignore it as a community
So what makes it stand out from the rest? The maps, the objective, and the gameplay itself being so unique to not only Cold War, but the entire franchise
Maps
Let's begin with the maps – They're incredible. Every single one of them (maybe aside from Duga, which is a concrete jungle) look incredibly well-designed cosmetically. I've also noticed that in a way, they represent all the seasons of the year. Ruka, Sanatorium and Duga look like Spring and Summer, Golova looks like Autumn, and Alpine looks like Winter
Objective
Next is the objective – The most respectable thing about it is that Treyarch was bold and decided to create something different. And despite it didn't gain traction, I think that it's a perfect combination of casual and strategic. Casually, you could just farm kills and not care about the objective. Strategically, that would still help your team deal with the bombs with less trouble from enemies
Playability
Finally is the playability – At worst, it's on par with the classics like Team Deathmatch. At best, it's better than the classics because it's new. It's different. There's things to learn, so it's less stale than the age-old familiarity of everything else. There's more to it, so the curve is higher. When you single-handidly kill an entire team and detonate a bomb, you'll understand what I mean by playability
