I made this CoD tier list based on my priorities, not community consensus or nostalgia.
Criteria I weighed: immersion/narration, campaign quality, multiplayer feel, economy/Microtransaction impact, matchmaking, core gameplay loop, balance, learning curve, replayability, art direction, soundtrack, emotional impact, accessibility, community vibe, longevity, and how well devs listen to players.
A couple of clarifications:
– This is not a historical impact ranking. It’s more how much I enjoy playing it with my criteria today.
– I’m clearly more into the Modern Warfare vibe (gunfeel, atmosphere, pacing).
– Not a tier list ragebait: I genuinely tried to like the Black Ops series, but it just doesn’t click with me.
