Warzone 1 felt very solid to me mainly because of the weapon variety from Modern Warfare, Cold War, and Vanguard. Since it shut down, most of the recent titles have felt mid in comparison. I played MWII and enjoyed it even though the movement felt slightly slow. I played MWIII and enjoyed it. I played BO6 and enjoyed that as well. However, I genuinely disliked BO7, and since its launch I have stopped playing Call of Duty completely. I recently found Modern Warfare 2019 on sale, but the fact that it is not optimized for Xbox Series X and does not have a console FOV slider is disappointing. Is it still worth buying in 2026, or does the locked FOV and lack of next gen optimization significantly hurt the experience. I would appreciate honest opinions from players who still play it.
