Memory: Kingston Fury Impact DDR5- 5600mhz CL40 Hynix A
These are the timings I can go as lower as possible without errors. This is a sodimm ram, so some values are not same as desktop rams, so please consider this.
Problem: I can't seem to lower primary timings from 36-38-38-30 to anything else. Even with increased voltages to 1.1 VDDP / VDD misc, 1.20 soc, or even 1.4 VDD/VDDQ, the memtest finds errors immidiately after starting. It posts but not stable at all.
On the internet, I found many people using this ram kit, exactly the same one, on CL30-36-30-30 or CL 32 36 32 32. Following their voltages and timings, still can't make it work. Any advice would be appriciated. Thank you.
Motherboard + CPU are Minisforum BD790ix3d.
- Trfc values are right on the edge.
- Can't tune trefi at all. (locked on bios and even smokelesspatch doesn't work)
- Can't turn off power down mode.
- Tfaw and tWR are set to lowest that bios allows.
- Tried FCLK 2167, it's stable but for some reason cinebench scores drop by 3% but memory lattench improves 3-4ns. At 2133 it's almost identical to 2000, so left it at 2000.
