Hey all, I previosuly had +375 on the core of my 5080 and +3000 on the mem but the latest driver updates haven't been as stable, not at least in my experience (especially in arc raiders and apex). Since the update that introduces super resolution in arc the +375 overclock would crash with an I/O error and it hadn't done that in the months of use before hand. It would occur once or twice a day. My bet is the memory OC but I'm sure.
Since the constant crashes, I've thought maybe its time to try a proper under volt. I wanted to ask you guys if this looks properly done, I'm not seeking an aggressive boost where I get the absolute most performance out of every millivolt but just something that keeps the card cool without sacrificing performance, I'm hoping to set it to something that might save my 12v cable one day.
The above pics score 8900 on steel nomad with my 7950X3D and the temps stay at around 67 degrees in heaven while scoring 6450. Given the card scores 8600 on steel and 6014 on heaven I'm pretty happy. I dont think the card so much as lacks performance but that core parking doesn't like me as its never properly worked, though I have got it going in games.
Is there anything I can do to make the above alteration more stable, and have I properly undervolted the card? I tried to keep the stock curve the same and only increase the clock at the millivolts where it would take effect to keep idle power consumption lower, not that it would make a significant impact anyway.
Thanks for any help, I've tried my best given the almost zero experience I've had lol. I appreciate any and all feedback, if I've done something silly by all means tell me!
