Personally, I blame the lack of a proper matchmaking. but that's another topic entirely. I've had a bunch of games where I would go above and beyond with objective pursuits. Nevertheless, my random team is holding me back with their inability to comprehend life itself.
Personally, I think there should be a bigger reward for having to go through this trouble. I'm not talking about extra XP or personal pride. imagine something more meaningful, like exclusive rewards, unlock tokens for max prestige unlocks, and other forms of recognition.
I think having something like this would encourage more people to stay, or at the very least, be less devastated due to the loss of humanity. Other things would encourage more people, like not having ED ratios visible, but that'll *somehow* cause controversy.
