Tekken 8 Season 3 was announced at the Tekken World Tour 2025 Finals. Kunimitsu will the first new character of the season to join in Spring 2026.
After her, we’ll get access to Bob and Roger Jr. Bandai Namco also revealed that there will be a fourth combatant to join in Season 3, but they did not disclose their identity just yet.
During this announcement, we were also told that a major balance update would also be dropping. It would seem that the main tagline for this patch is that it will be a “return to basics.”
However, it’s important to highlight that the major changes coming to Tekken 8 won’t actually be dropping until next month. Additionally, the first Season 3 Pass character, Kunimitsu, won’t become available to use until closer to the Spring 2026 window.
Instead, today’s patch is making it possible to purchase the Season 3 Pass. Players will also be able to purchase the Aurora outfit pack. This patch will be dropping at February 10, 2026 at 5:00 a.m. UTC+7 (2:00 p.m. PT and 5 p.m. ET today).
The additions of a new fan art panel and Tekken Shop Sale updates are also mentioned. For now, it’s unknown how much the Season 3 Pass will cost, but it would seem that we’re soon going to find out. It’s certainly worth highlighting that the Season 2 Character Pass was priced at $29.99, so it’ll likely be similar for the third pass.
