Hellooo! I just launched my very first game! Severed Light: Ash of the Lost King, a top-down action RPG you can play right in your browser.
You pick from 10 races and 6 classes — everything from a Necromancer raising the dead to a Druid who can transform into a werewolf mid-combat. The loot system is heavily inspired by Diablo 2 — randomized affixes, tiered gear, that dopamine hit when a rare drops with perfect stats.
The world is procedurally generated across multiple biomes. You'll explore towns with taverns, merchants who haggle, healers, quest givers with their own storylines, and dungeons that don't play out the same way twice. There's a main quest line pulling you forward and side quests scattered across the map.
Combat is real-time — you've got skill trees, a dash mechanic, and fights get intense once you start pushing into harder zones. Dungeons will test your build if you think you've got things figured out!
