Tomorrow (Feb 8) we’re getting FURIA vs Team Vitality in the IEM Krakow 2026 grand final at Tauron Arena. It’s a Bo5 for $400,000 plus a big chunk of VRS points.
FURIA’s run has been the full lower bracket story. They got smashed 2-0 by FUT in groups, then had to fight through elimination the whole way. Since then they’ve looked way sharper, rolled Aurora in quarters, and beat Spirit in a tense 3-map series to make the final. KSCERATO has been huge, and FalleN’s mid-series adjustments have actually looked on point.
Vitality is the complete opposite. They haven’t dropped a single map in Krakow. They’ve looked clean on basically everything, even pulling out Ancient, and the win over MOUZ in semis felt pretty routine. ZywOo and ropz still look like the most unfair duo in CS.
One interesting wrinkle is FURIA already beat Vitality this season. They swept them 3-0 at IEM Chengdu 2025, so it’s not like this matchup is impossible for them.
Feels like the whole final comes down to whether FURIA can force the series into messy brawls, or if Vitality just keeps everything controlled and wins on fundamentals.
