GTW 2026 New Year Championship is happening this weekend in Shanghai, China.

This is a special tournament featuring both invited players and qualifiers, including last chance qualifiers at the event.
Day one will be a Street Fighter 6 tournament with a total prize pool of 45,000 Yuan ($6,486) up for grabs.
On the second day there will be a Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves bracket which also features a 45,000 Yuan prize pool.
The last chance qualifiers carry different spots for the two games, with the Street Fighter 6 one having three spots available and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves with five spots set for qualifiers.
After the last chance qualifiers finish, the main brackets starts on each day.
