[Cod] do yall think Call of Duty should keep the campaigns brutal dark and gritty like they used to back in the day or should they tone it down for the audience?

from my pov cod have always been about getting a deeper look into the global war conflict so i def think they should go all out and keep making the games dark and gritty, nothing about call of duty or war in genetal is pretty or censored in the first place. But a good campaign is number one priority hands down! Thoughts?
