What is a better fit? A flat screen or a curved monitor? I want to get a bigger screen that's not only larger but also nicer to look at than a laptop screen as I'm starting my professional career. During college and in my internships, I was constantly out and about, moving around, and needing to do both school and internship work on the fly. Even with my position, there will be assignments for me to do at home so I'm wanting to get a bigger screen for less eye strain and nicer resolution. Does size matter? 27" vs 32"? It's going to be mounted to my desk with a dual monitor and laptop mount to allow for easy plugging in of my laptop and continue my work.

Main usage is going to be office work, CAD modeling, school work, consuming media and the occasional gaming session. I heard that curved monitors are good for both peripheral viewing in games and helps with immersion in both games and viewing media but I don't know if that's what I want. I don't game as much as I used to and I hardly play competitive shooters nowadays. Given my situation/needs, would type of monitor would best suit my needs?
