my opinion on this is still the same today as it always have been. (Call of Duty in my eyes have always been linear missions aka following one path and one path only) back to the old roots, the og cod4, waw, bo1, bo2, mw2 & 3 u get what im sayin. No side missions/side quests, no traveling thousands of miles to get to the mission objective. Linear missions is what makes cod stand out in my eyes, and what i fell in love with as a kid. And i really hope IW takes notes on what we want for a good campaign. Seeing call of duty copying farcry with the open world stuff is just not it, and it makes me loose totaly interest in playin the campaign. What is your opinions on this, should Call of Duty keep focus on giving us linear or open world missions?
Note; if yall remember the machete mission from bo2 where we played as Menendez trying to save Josefina that shit to me was already way too farcry in my eyes.. And the cold war one where Mason was going after the red door by Adler that made me loose alot interest too, that is just not cod mission by any means..
