
SBMM can be good if done right.
duo-queued with a friend, both in top 100 of the leaderboard(Garena). It’s infuriating how this seems to always be the case. Our combined kills(29) nearly quadruples that of our 3 teammates(8).
I’ve gotten used to this but I don’t get the point of this mechanic. Legendary is pretty much meaningless, rank shields are handed out like candies during trick-or-treating. And to get teamed up with bad teammates the better you play(same goes for the opposite, getting better teammates the worse you play), is some utter bs. This ruins the experience for everyone, especially for the bottom frags because they can’t land a single shot on their enemies and going triple or quadruple negative.
Suggestion: they should add another rank group between Grandmasters and leggy. Ranked XP gained from underperforming should be lowered. Rank shields shouldn’t be usable above Grandmasters AND leggy top 1k should have comp rules applied.
Rules for the upcoming competition in my country is interesting, lots of banned perks, attachments , and tacticals. Stuff like martyrdom, heartbeat sensor, trip sensor and all those annoying brainless tacticals. Would love to see that in ranked.
