What Telltale game is getting a new release?

Telltale’s underrated hit Poker Night at the Inventory is getting a new release. The poker game, which sees characters across various franchises and properties all sitting down for a high-stakes Texas Hold’em tournament, is getting a remastered version, courtesy of developer Skunkape.

The new version of Poker Night at the Inventory is set to release on March 5, 2026, and will be available on Steam, and for the first time, will also be available on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. A new announcement video for the game highlights the game’s re-released, as well as several of the characters in the game.

Poker Night at the Inventory is an interesting game, and was created in just three months by the same people who would go on to make classics like The Walking Dead: A Telltale Series and The Wolf Among Us. The game sees Max (Sam & Max), Strong Bad (Homestar Runner), Tycho (Penny Arcade), and Team Fortress 2’s The Heavy all sitting down for a game of poker.

The remaster includes an overhauled graphics system, as well as new lighting. Gameplay fixes are also included, with improvements to the poker simulation, new unlockables, and other quality-of-life changes being made. For those playing on Steam, players can also win real items for Team Fortress 2 at the table.
