I AM IN NO WAY SAYING THE STAFFS ARE BAD DONT START WITH ME, but I feel overall the Hands did the four wonder weapon variant thing the best. They are way more unique with each having a different mechanic and use, they are engaging and simple to build and upgrade, and they interact with the main quest in a much better way than origins did. I know I also have the mark 2s above the staffs too but that one was coming right off of doing AO and I really love how unique each of the upgrades felt and how fun they were to use, so that opinion could be easily argued and at any other time I might have the staffs higher. The staffs are not super engaging to build the base form of, the upgrades are complex in a bad way and basically require a cheat sheet, and IMO they are all basically the same. They have unique effects but they are all just hold down the trigger and shoot a large blast with mildly different elemental effects. A better word for it would be the staffs are pretty much interchangeable in my experience. I didnt include non-treyarch because I havent played those and I completely forgot the DIE machines existed till right now. Those would be above the krakens but not above the staffs. I havent touched that map since like mauer dropped so I really dont remember if they were super unique or not.
