Input Detections
New detections target input-modifying devices that simulate machine-perfect aim and recoil control, removing advantages no human player can naturally achieve. These devices include the Cronus Zen and the XIM Matrix.
Ranked Play Requirements
When Multiplayer Ranked Play launches in Season 02, RICOCHET Anti-Cheat™ will require a stronger form of Remote Attestation for PC players, in partnership with Microsoft. This extra layer of protection sets a new standard for Ranked Play, building on our existing TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot requirements.

Anti-Teaming Updates
We’re implementing additional measures to detect and address various forms of unfair player behavior, including:
Enemies suspiciously sharing cash currency (data gathering & in-game detection)
Botting behavior detection (data gathering only)
Anti-teaming behavior detection (data gathering & in-game detection)
Continuing our anti-teaming efforts from the previous chapter, players who team with enemy squads will be detected in-game. Repeated kills of the same enemy or enemy team will also be flagged by our system for analysis.
If players continue to engage in unfair behavior, an in-game message in Warzone Ranked Play will alert them that SR is being reduced to zero for an unfair kill. The team sees these measures as building blocks towards our goal to create a robust system that detects and prevents unfair player behavior. Players can expect ongoing, strong enforcement against teaming, including seasonal and permanent Ranked Play bans.
Anti-teaming detection consists of three components:
Data Gathering (combination of existing and new data gathering algorithms)
In-game detection (new)
SR penalties for severe or repeated behavior
Resulting in kills granting 0 SR and the activity being logged for the team to review
We’re implementing analytics-based detection for botting behavior. As part of our continued efforts to combat unfair play, new metrics will track bot usage and coordinated efforts to boost accounts via botting. This data will be used by the team to issue Ranked Plays bans where appropriate.
We’re also implementing new metrics to detect enemies sharing cash suspiciously. Players may see an in-game message reading “Cash owned by enemy team” when picking up cash that was suspiciously dropped by an enemy. This will only trigger when the game detects activity above a relatively strict suspicion threshold – the goal is for most players to not encounter this. We will continue to monitor feedback and data as these components go live.
Overall, recurring instances of the outlined behavior will be detected by the game, and the collected data will be used by our team to issue Ranked Play bans at a larger and more accurate scale. In the meantime, please continue to use our in-game reporting tool to flag bad actors and provide feedback via social media channels.
