For the next several months, the Rochester Americans will be front and center of the local high school hockey scene as part of a weekly series that features the latest news and notes, scores and stats of select Section V games around the Greater Rochester Area.

The High School Game of the Week includes the Victor Central Blue Devils (8-6-0) facing the Webster Thomas Titans (7-6-1) on Tuesday, February 3 for a 6:00 p.m. puck drop at Webster Ice Arena.

Prior to losing its past two games, Victor Central had won four of its first five contests to start 2026, which began with a 5-3 and 3-1 victory over Portside and Webster Thomas. The Blue Devils have recorded double digits in wins in seven of their last eight seasons dating back to the 2016-17 slate and currently boast an 8-6-0 mark this year.

In the previous meeting earlier this season on January 3 between the two clubs, Victor Central scored a pair of markers in the opening stanza before adding a second-period goal to close out the 3-1 win. The Blue Devils went 2-for-5 on the man-advantage while clearing off all three of their penalties.
