Masangsoft today announced that GunZ: The Duel, the revival of the iconic third-person shooter, will host its third global playtest as part of Steam PvP Fest, allowing players worldwide to experience the latest build during the festival period.
Following two successful global playtests, the upcoming test will once again be conducted in a playtest format on Steam, giving players direct hands-on access to competitive PvP gameplay. Participation in Steam PvP Fest marks an important milestone for GunZ: The Duel, expanding test access while introducing the game to a broader global PvP audience.
Playtest Focus
This third playtest builds directly on feedback from the second global playtest, with a focus on improving overall stability, refining core combat systems, and welcoming a broader PvP audience during Steam PvP Fest. Masangsoft aims to observe real-time PvP performance, matchmaking flow, and overall gameplay stability in a large-scale festival environment, while continuing to gather player feedback ahead of future development phases.
Specific gameplay changes and updates will be shared closer to the start of the playtest.

Playtest Schedule
The Third Global Playtest will be available on Steam as part of Steam PvP Fest from
February 9, 2026 at 18:00 AM (PST) to February 15, 2026 at 18:00 AM (PST).
Players will be able to participate through the Steam Playtest system via the game’s Steam store page once the playtest goes live.
