TITLETOWN, Wis. (WBAY) – If you’re excited for the upcoming Winter Olympics, Titletown is hoping to add to the anticipation.
They’re hosting their 7th-annual Winter Games, and for those who go, it’s a chance to experience the thrill of what it’s like to be at the big event.
The activities on Saturday morning started with an opening ceremony.
Plenty of different winter sports are offered, with competitions in curling, ski jumping, the luge, and more making up the games.
One former youth Olympian says it’s nice to see young people trying the new sports.
“I was here six years ago, and that’s what set me into the sport, and it’s so fun to see other kids like me that are kind of getting into it and just having fun on the slopes,” says Talia Tonn.
Before the event opened, a few community groups were invited to try out all the activities.
