Frosty Faustings XVIII 2026 is, as the name suggests, the 18th outing for the major and will be taking place as usual in Chicago, Illinois.

Although most tour circuits are done for the season, the Arc World Tour is still going and has Frosty Faustings as a Platinum Event for Guilty Gear Strive, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising and Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes].
In total, Frosty Faustings XVIII 2026 has a staggering amount of participants, totaling almost 4,000 entrants. The biggest bracket is the mixed 2XKO bracket, which means that entrants can be either solos or duos, which has over 850 total entries, followed by Guilty Gear Strive with more than 660 participants and Street Fighter 6 sitting at over 650 signups.
Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising lands at over 400 competitors followed by Tekken 8 with more than 380 players and Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes] in next with over 320 hopefuls, followed by the iconic Chicago Mystery Tournament, Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 and BlazBlue: Central Fiction both reaching over 200 names each.
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code, Rivals of Aether 2, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers) each hit over 100 players, while King of Fighters 15, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Skullgirls: 2nd Encore, Melty Blood Type Lumina, Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo, Capcom vs. SNK 2 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 all reached over 50 signups.
There will also be tournament play for Mortal Kombat 1, Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact and tons of side tournaments which you can find more specifics on in the side tournament schedule further down.
Streaming is being done at Tampa Never Sleeps, Juicy Game Night, Max Mode FGC, Low Kick Esports, Unrivaled Tournaments, IFC Yipes, Vampire Arcadia, UGS Gaming and Matchstick Melee.
