Most of the impacted workers – provided they are based in the US – will be given 90 days to find a new role within the company itself, the statement continues, with Amazon pledging to “provide transition support including severance pay, outplacement services, health insurance benefits (as applicable), and more” for those unable to secure themselves a new position.
