Just weeks earlier, fellow Swedish mogul skier Robin Olgaard also saw his Olympic ambitions come to an abrupt end. Shortly after being nominated for the Games, the 22 year old sustained a serious knee injury following a crash during the World Cup event in Val St Come, Canada, earlier in January. The injury has ended his season and will keep him sidelined for an extended period.

Both athletes were considered key members of the Swedish freestyle squad heading into Livigno, and their absence represents a significant loss for the team.

The entire FIS Freestyle family sends its best wishes to Filip Gravenfors and Robin Olgaard, hoping for a smooth recovery and a strong return to competition.
