The Anissa and Lucan gameplay trailer for Invincible Vs has dropped. We actually already knew that Lucan was present in Invincible Vs as he was revealed during the very first trailer for the game, but this is the first time we’ve seen him during gameplay.
As for Anissa, this is actually her debut trailer for Invincible Vs. Like Omni-Man, Thula and Lucan, she’s a Viltrumite that’s boasting a ton of speed and power with her attacks.
Anissa’s debut in the Invincible television series had her engaging in combat against Invincible himself. At the time, she was noted as being even faster and stronger than Nolan, aka Omni-Man.
She actually had the opportunity to kill Invincible, but chose to spare him. However, she warned that the next Viltrumite visitor (Conquest) would not tolerate Invincible’s defiance.
Lucan, alongside Thula and Vidor, fought against Omni-Man and Invincible in Season 2. Although the three of them were defeated, Omni-Man and Invincible were badly injured, with Omni-Man seemingly having had his back broken by Lucan.
From the gameplay trailer, many of Lucan’s attacks seem to reference the backbreaking injury he dealt to Omni-Man during the fight. Based on what we see, Lucan might be one of the grappler characters in Invincible Vs.
