2026 is going to be a very busy year for fighting game fans, and Invincible VS is going to be the next to step up to the plate.
Skybound Games recently made an interesting announcement in regards to Invincible VS’ future DLC characters that should please players.
The one and only Vicious discussed Invincible’s Year 1 Character Pass in a bit more detail through an official video.
As was previously teased, the DLC pass will offer four more playable characters, and while they haven’t been revealed yet, you won’t have to pay to try them out.
The team is making the nice decision to allow players to try out every new character in Training Mode whether they own the DLC or not.
This is great for players looking to test out new fighters before spending money or for those just trying to lab against the newest additions.
According to the official Invincible VS website, the first two DLC characters will be released together in June followed by the third in September and then the last one in December.
The game will launch with 18 fighters on the base roster, and there’s still seven left to go after the new game-original Ella Mental was shown last month.
We won’t have to wait very long to see the next character reveal either, as Skybound has confirmed they have a new announcement coming on Monday, January 26, at 10 a.m. PT.

The team also recently showed off a couple of special variant covers for Invincible VS from the comic book artists themselves.
Invincible VS is scheduled to release on April 30 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
