Hi guys, I finally decided to look into increasing performance of my Ryzen 7 9800X3D and I think I encounter some hiccups I hope you'll help me solve.
I looked online and saw scores of people with almost my same config as me on the range of 5000 and 6000 on Cinebench 2026 while I was able to get around 4000 and I'd love to see if there is room to improve the performance.
I've read guides and threads on this reddit and I follow some steps given my current configuration:
Ryzen 7 9800X3d
XFX 9070XT
32GB Trident Z5 NEO DDR5-6000 CL-30
Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX
CPU cooled with Thermalight Phantom Spirit 120 SE
First I enable the X3D turbo Mode
Disable SMT
Set the PBO limit to Motherboard
Boost clock override to positive 200
Set the curve optimizer to all cores Negative 30
Set the Override scaler to 6X (as I read online there is not relevant performance boost after 6)
I did not mess with the Ram controllers I just enabled the EXPO 1 function and that's it, would love to see if there is something I can do on it as well.
With all of this set as you can see I was reaching a TDP of 120W with roughly 5400 MHz and 75 degrees C.
Attached are my results and my config, can anyone help me see if there is room for improvement?
