If they’re going to bring back Yuri as the Pentagon Thief, it would have to be a “Five” remaster or something similar to it. Hell it could be anywhere really, like if they made a map like Ascension. Because with the confirmation that new iterations of Yuri Zavoyski and Anton Gersh existing, it makes me wonder if Yuri survived the Dark Aether and sabotaging Project Thunder.
Similarly to his Aether counterpart, for those who don’t know. Yuri found a diary, and read it. However instead of hearing Samantha’s voice, he heard the voice of The Warden who drove Yuri insane and manipulated him into thinking that Project Thunder was all of Gersh’s glory, and that Yuri had none.

Similarly to his Aether counterpart, Yuri became progressively more insane and became an agent of the Warden. And whilst he didn’t use a Gersh Device on Gersh, he did cause the whole entirety of the Zarya Cosmodrome to be transported into the Dark Aether out of resentment and jealousy because he prevented the rocket launch.
Also, I don’t expect Yuri to look the same obviously, since of how he started to look . Given how the intel in Ashes, one of the cosmonauts. Egorov said that Yuri had become extremely thin and of how he looked.

The thing I’m picturing right now is a Wendigo, or something like that. Like in my head, I’m imagining a Wendigo or something really thin and twisted that is creepy-as-hell.
Although I wouldn’t be surprised if Yuri does look similar, if not as identically to his Aether counterpart. Still, I would like the concept of Yuri coming back. Maybe he will have different gameplay mechanics from his counterpart in Five, because we don’t know what happened to him after the Cosmodrome ended up in the Dark Aether… All we found was his ID badge and Yuri’s lab.
