About two weeks ago before I was Game banned at 13. September 2025. (Not VAC banned, but Game Ban, and keep in mind that I WAS banned) My game would crash anytime I would join any gamemode.
Sounds normal so far right? Not really. Before I was banned I joined a match of wingman with my friend, and as soon my game loaded it just shut down CS2. After many verifying files many times, downloading the game 10 times, checking crashlogs and everything still no fix. Also I never got any crashlogs so yea thats very weird. So more details yea… If joining any gamemode where I chose CT or T side, it would load up just fine. After choosing the game mode it just closes my game. Weird thing is that when I click spectate it does not kick me and I can watch people play. When joining competitive/wingman it just closes my game as soon as it loads up. And then I was Game banned at 13. September 2025. At this point I just thought I was before I got the notification that I was banned and made sense why I could not play. Now I just made another acc and started playing CS2 on my new acc and bought prime so I didnt really care no more. NOW IT GETS WEIRDER. Few days ago I was snooping on this acc and saw It no longer said I was banned. VAC status was clean. Also I never removed the Account alert that I was banned because idk. And I tried to join a match and yea same problem. At this point I was confused and went and contacted Steam Support. After I told them everything and explained my problem and showed them pictures they said to just remove the account alert. After doing that the problem was same. Contacted them again and said I should try to play on another device. OMG IT WORKS ON MY LAPTOP without problem. Told ya its hella weird. Just to remind you, on my PC I can play only on my second account, but on my laptop I can play on both accounts. Told this to Steam support and they said they cannot fix this, closed my ticket and asked me politely to open another ticket or to discuss it here.
I will leave you a video of the crash happening. And it is always the same
