RGG Studio has shared a new statement ahead of the release of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, addressing fan feedback and confirming the status of Yakuza 3 Remastered as the launch date approaches. In case you missed it, check out our preview. Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties launches on February 12, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

In the statement, RGG Studio acknowledged that the release is now less than a month away, noting that the team is nearing the finish line on the project. “Everyone at the studio has poured their hearts into creating this title, and we are truly looking forward to the day everybody can finally play it,” the studio said.

RGG Studio also responded to ongoing community discussion surrounding the remake and its direction, emphasizing that feedback has been heard, even if individual responses aren’t possible. “While we may not be able to reply to every comment individually, please know that we hear all of your voices,” the statement reads. The studio added that it remains committed to its vision for the project, stating, “We place great importance on staying faithful to our creative direction, and we hope you will enjoy the completely new experiences we have envisioned for ‘Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties.’”

The message also included clarification regarding Yakuza 3 Remastered, which has recently raised concerns about potential delisting. According to RGG Studio, existing owners will not lose access. “Those who already own ‘Yakuza 3 Remastered’ will still be able to continue playing it,” the studio confirmed. However, access for new players will change. “For those new to the series who wish to experience the original version, it will be available with purchase of the ‘Yakuza Complete Series’ bundle.” While not explicitly stating that the remastered version will be delisted, the wording suggests it may no longer be sold as a standalone title.
