It’s been a hot and cold minute since we last checked in with Disney Dreamlight Valley, the online life sim marinated in all of Disney’s popular cartoon properties. Just because we’ve been lax doesn’t mean that the studio’s gotten lazy; in fact, Disney Dreamlight Valley was cranking out a ton of updates throughout the remainder of last year.
Last September, the free Return to Beast’s Castle patch dropped with an adventure through one of Disney’s most popular animated films. Then in November, Dreamlight Valley opened the gates to Wishblossom Ranch, the “coziest relaxation destination” with horses, Maximus (from Tangled), and Cruella De Vil.
Most recently, the title dropped the Winter Ball update, bringing Cinderella to the game with her own storyline and the new Friendship Ball. The update also included the new DreamTeams mini-guild system that allows players to more easily trade and stick together.
