Hi everyone,
I'm having a concern with my i5-14600K paired with an MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 motherboard.
I've noticed that the CPU voltage spikes up to ~1.5V at idle/light load. This happens randomly when the system isn't doing much. BIOS is updated to the latest version.
My questions:
Is this kind of voltage spike normal for 14th gen Intel CPUs?
Is 1.5V at idle safe, or should I be worried long-term?
What settings should I change in BIOS to lower and stabilize the voltage?
• Lite Load?
CPU Core Voltage Mode (Adaptive / Offset)?
Load-Line Calibration (LLC)?
• Any recommended offsets or power limits?
I'm aiming for lower temps, stable voltage, and no performance loss.
Thanks in advance for the help, appreciate any advice
