ccrroocc, the developer of the upcoming cozy Godot-powered adventure titled Tenkemo, unveiled a new WIP setup, showcasing progress on custom water shaders.
Appealing stylized water, brought to life using the custom tools, beautifully combines painterly and pixelated effects. According to the developer, the pixel shader was created by disabling the filtering and using low-resolution shadows.
Tenkemo combines the style of Minecraft and Animal Crossing and offers players to explore a charming nature world, with its forests, caves, and mountains, while experiencing weather changes and a day-night cycle.
