Although it may not feel like it, Street Figher 6 is still technically right in the middle of its third season with many months left to go.
Top player Broski recently put together a new tier list for Street Fighter 6 Season 3 where he’s got some interesting placements on the top and bottom.
While he says he doesn’t really like tier lists, Broski’s community raised over £3,000 for Doctors Without Borders to get him to create a new one as a fundraising goal that they smashed.
Despite some of the nerfs he’s received, JP is still the number one character in the game with the highest ceiling among the cast with great hitboxes, zoning and good defense after all this time.
It should be no surprise at this point to see Mai Shiranui in second place, however, but these two have shot up the ranks compared to Broski’s Season 2 tier list from last year.
The rest of his top five is made up of Ed, Ryu and Akuma with Blanka and Terry being not that far behind from his perspective.
As for his own character, Broski puts A.K.I. around the middle of the pack in B tier where he thinks she’s starting to fall behind what the top meta contenders can do though the poison user still has strong tools like her fireball into Drive Rush.
The newest fighter, C. Viper, ends up slightly behind his main and around the same power level as Zangief, Chun-Li and Elena where as his impressions of Sagat have significantly improved to put him in the top 10.
At the very bottom of the tier list, Lily sits alone as the sole member of “not even good enough for D” tier.
In Broski’s eyes, she essentially fails at being a grappler because Lily can’t really set up plus frames for her command grabs without first trying to get her unsafe wind stocks to try and play the same game as stronger characters.
You can check out Broski’s full tier list below, and the complete breakdown of all the Street Fighter 6 characters can be found in his YouTube video too.
